Because the little things matter

Support for Families

BabyMatters offers steady, practical support for growing families. Through education and compassionate care, we help you feel informed, supported, and more confident as you welcome your baby.

Deep Breathe. You’re in the right place.

You may be feeling excited, nervous, or unsure of what comes next.
You may have questions you didn’t know to ask yet.
You may simply want someone calm and experienced by your side.

That’s normal.

At BabyMatters, we meet families where they are.
We offer guidance that feels clear and reassuring, without pressure or judgment.

How we support families:

  • Childbirth education that helps you understand what to expect and how to prepare
  • Birth doula support for steady presence and reassurance
  • Postpartum doula care focused on newborn care, recovery, and adjustment
  • Evidence-based information shared in a way that feels simple and doable
  • Help connecting to trusted resources when you need more support

Our goal is not to overwhelm you with information.
It’s to help you feel capable and supported, one step at a time.

Our Services

We offer education and support for families during pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks with a new baby. Each service is designed to help you feel informed, supported, and more confident as you care for yourself and your baby.

Classes that help you prepare for birth, feeding, and life with your baby.

Perinatal education includes childbirth education, breastfeeding classes, and newborn care guidance. These classes are designed to help you understand what to expect, ask questions, and feel more prepared as you move through pregnancy and early parenthood.

Calm, continuous support during labor and birth.

A birth doula provides non-medical emotional and physical support throughout labor. This includes reassurance, comfort measures, guidance for partners, and a steady presence to help you feel supported and grounded during birth.

Support for you and your baby in the weeks after birth.

A postpartum doula offers guidance with newborn care, feeding, recovery, and the adjustment to life at home with a baby. This support helps families feel less overwhelmed and more confident as they settle into their new rhythm.

Our work is shaped by decades of experience supporting families.

  • There is no one “right” way to parent
  • Confidence grows with support and understanding
  • Families deserve care that feels respectful and calm
  • Questions are welcome at every stage
