Description
Supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period is meaningful work. At the same time, questions often come up along the way. You may find yourself wondering how to navigate a situation with a client, how certification works, or what your next step in this field might be.
The Monthly Mentorship Circle is a welcoming place to explore those questions with guidance and community.
Once each month, birthworkers gather on Zoom with Debbie Young for a relaxed conversation about the real-life work of supporting families and growing in this field. Some participants bring questions. Others come simply to listen and learn from the shared experiences in the room. If no one brings a topic that month, Debbie will introduce one based on common questions she hears from students and professionals.
Conversations may include topics such as:
โข Supporting families during the postpartum period
โข Navigating certification requirements
โข Real-life situations with clients
โข Helping families ask questions and feel heard during birth
โข Continuing education and professional growth
โข Building a sustainable birthwork practice
Debbie brings more than three decades of experience as a doula, childbirth educator, and mentor. Her approach is calm, practical, and encouraging. This is not a lecture. It is a supportive space where you can ask questions, hear different perspectives, and leave feeling clearer about your next steps.
This circle is open to:
โข Birthworkers working toward certification
โข Newly certified doulas or educators finding their footing
โข Experienced professionals who value ongoing learning and connection
