What is a Dual Certification?

It’s a combined credential from ICEA that certifies an individual as both a Certified Birth Doula and a Certified Childbirth Educator. This means you’re trained not only to provide hands-on support during labor but also to teach expecting families through childbirth preparation. It’s the perfect pairing to walk with families through the entire pregnancy.

Time Commitment:

• Varies, Typically:
  • In-Person – 3-4 consecutive days. i.e. Fri, Sat & Sunday 8-5
  • Virtual – Weekly for 7 weeks or BiWeekly for 3.5 weeks or 3 consecutive days.
